Merry Christmas!
I am so blessed. I got to spend the entire day opening presents with my family and my guinea pig and then got to end the night with my incredible boyfriend, Josh. (He spoiled me to no end - I am so grateful.) My favorite present came from him actually. It was a simple penguin-shaped stone with the phrase "you + me" with a red heart. Now, he knows that penguins are my favorite animal, but there's a backstory to this. Penguins, when they're in love, will search the entire beach for the perfect pebble to give to the one they care for most. For Josh- the penguin-shaped stone was the pebble, and I love it. As I said, I am extremely blessed.
Other gifts of today included an Olli Maatta Finland jersey from the World Cup of Hockey, a signed Maatta puck, penguin tickets, the Amazon Alexa, and other miscellaneous clothes and small gifts.
I want to keep this post brief so whatever holiday you celebrate, I hope it has or will treat you well and that 2017 is good to you.
